Roughly nine minutes of gameplay was shown for the upcoming Arkane Lyon project Deathloop at Playstation’s State of Play. The gameplay shows everything that makes Arkane such a unique studio and shows a ton of never before seen action.
Deathloop is currently in an odd position, as it is a timed console exclusive to Playstation for a year. The deal for exclusivity was made prior to Microsoft’s acquistion of Arkane’s parent company Bethesda, meaning the game will launch first on a non Xbox platform.

This entire situation has put a slight damper on the game. However, Deathloop does look fantastic, and those who own a PS5 should look into getting it when it releases in September. If you’re patient enough or do not have a Playstation 5, the game will undoubtedly launch into GamePass next year as soon as the timed exclusivity is up.
