Microsoft reveals xCloud hardware in Fortune Magazine interview

In a larger piece about how all the big companies are in competition for the best game streaming solution, Fortune Magazine had an interview with Phil Spencer and Kareem Choudry from Xbox. In this interview they reaffirmed xCloud is being deployed in 13 regions as of now and that phones will be their first focus. But they also showed off the xCloud hardware that’s inside the servers.

Fortune speaks with Phil Spencer and Kareem Choudry about Project xCloud

Each blade in the server consists of 8 Xbox One S consoles. This ensures games will run with 100% compatibility on xCloud. Games that run on Xbox One, will run on xCloud.
