This Monday the Steam Strategy Fest has started. There are certain genres that are more popular on PC than they are on console. Many strategy genres within gaming are among them.
From August 28th to September 4th Steam runs the Strategy Fest. It includes demos and a sale on a bunch of strategy games. Xbox Game Studios titles such as Age of Empires III, Age of Empires III and Age of Empires IV are part of this sale. The biggest sellers during this sale are:
- Civilization VI | 90% off | $5.99 | €5.99
- Hearts of Iron IV | 70% off | $11.99 | €11.99
- Anno 1800 | 75% off | $14.99 | € 14.99
- Age of Empires IV Anniversary Edition | 50% off | $19.99 | €19.99
- Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition | 75% off | $4.99 | €4.99
- Frostpunk | 80% off | $5.99 | €5.99
Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is free to play during Strategy Fest. The game itself is on sale with 65% off. Interestingly enough other strategy titles by Microsoft aren’t for sale. Games such as Gears Tactics, Halo Wars and Minecraft Legends are still their regular price.
