Apple TV, HBO Max, Sky Go, and more to be available on Xbox Series X and S

This morning, the Xbox Wire blog posted an article about the streaming apps that will be available on the Xbox Series consoles. Besides the long list of applications mentioned on the page, Apple TV has been finally dated for Xbox consoles, which will be available on November 10th. You can view an excerpt of the apps coming to Series below.

…we’re excited to announce that your favorite entertainment apps you enjoy today on Xbox One will be available on Xbox Series X and Series S. That means your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Spotify, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, NBC Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket and more, will be waiting for you when you boot your new Xbox console on November 10.

If you don’t see an app that you use, like Crunchyroll or Plex, it is the author’s humble opinion that you shouldn’t fret. These apps will show up on next-gen hardware just fine as both Xbox One and Xbox Series essentially run the same operating system. It’s not a matter of “why won’t it run?” but “why wouldn’t it run?”. Of course if for some reason I am wrong then you are free to chuck cockroaches at me.
