Where to Catch the Upcoming Xbox Showcase and Summer Game Fest Showings

Fantastic Showcases and Where to Find Them

Another year, another (almost) summer showing of video games from across the industry. Whether it’s coming from the big three console manufacturers, game publishers themselves, or bands of indies, there’s a lot of games going to be shown and a lot are going to be seen by you. Below you’ll find a list of shows that will air over the course of the month and where you can go to watch them. Click the titles to visit the show’s official page (if available) and click the time for conversions to major time zones.

This article will be updated over the season as new shows and events are announced. Check back often!

Without further ado, let’s list the shows—in order of airing time.


Geoff Keighly’s Summer Game Fest | Thursday, June 8 @ 1500 EDT

Live from YouTube Theater, Los Angeles comes the yearly Summer Game Fest. Hosted by the one and only Geoff Keighly of The Game Awards and Halo 4 fame. Plenty of games have been announced here before like The Callisto Protocol and Goat Simulator 3.

This event will be followed by the following shows soon after:

  • iam8bit and Double Fine’s ‘Day of the Devs’ Summer Games Fest Edition – 1700 EDT
    • A collab between both companies that has shown hundreds of games since its inception in 2012. Will air right after the main show.
  • Devolver Direct – ‘The Return of Volvy! I’m Back Gamers!’ – 1800 EDT
    • Devolver returns to the stage with their lovely selection of unique video games. Will air shortly after the prior show.

Interested viewers will be able to stream the event live from YouTube on The Game Awards channel. The show will also air on Twitch, no word on other platforms at this time.


Future Games Show – Summer Showcase | Saturday, June 10 @ 1300 EDT

The GamesRadar-run show returns, hosted by Marvel’s Spider-Man Yuri Lowenthal and The Last of Us’ Laura Bailey. Many a game has seen their debut on this show, so you don’t wanna miss this.

Interested parties can watch the show on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and other partner sites like IGN. Frankly speaking, this one feels hard to miss.


Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct | Sunday, June 11 @ 1300 EDT

Wipe the drool off your face. Really, there’s a bit hanging off your chin… Once you’ve done that, check out our predictions for this showing right over here.

Microsoft’s big showing airs on Sunday across just about everything you can think of. YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and other partner sites. There will be a American Sign Language stream available as well. And on top of that, the event will have full subtitle support for the following languages:

Albanian, Arabic (MSA), Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Maltese, Moldovan, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian & EU), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish (Castilian & Latin American), Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Welsh.

Lastly, note that only the YouTube channel will offer the event for 4k/60FPS viewing.

Xbox Games Showcase Extended Stream | Tuesday, June 13 @ 1300 EDT

Microsoft will air an Extended Stream that will feature more gameplay, in-depth interviews from creators, and updates from Xbox’s partners. As this is a live broadcast, language support will be limited to English, German, French, Brasilian Portuguese, and Latin America Spanish. Subtitle support for Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, and Korean will be added to the on-demand video in the days that follow.


PC Gamer’s PC Gaming Show | Sunday, June 11 @ 1600 EDT

PC Gamer returns with their yearly PC Gaming Show. This year folks can expect to see about 15 new game titles, many of them of course being PC-centric. Starting as a show to cover what the publication felt was “underrepresented”, it’s since shown plenty a new game announcement and updates since 2015. This year’s show will be hosted by Sean “Day[9]” Plott.

Watch this show on Twitch and other platforms once it airs shortly after the Xbox Games Showcase.


CAPCOM Showcase | Monday, June 12 @ 1700 EDT

Capcom returns with their own a day after Xbox’s. Running for about 36 minutes, this show will talk about the future of Capcom and their games. You can definitely expect to see Exoprimal here.
