Earlier today, the official Killer Instinct Twitter responded to a report of the game’s ranked matchmaking being broken as the result of a hacker. As reported by NickyFGC, as of yesterday no one has been able to connect to ranked games thanks to an individual they believe goes by the name ‘polyestarr’. While other online modes such as exhibition and lobbies are still functional, ranked multiplayer is the lifeblood of any fighter and it’s great to hear from Microsoft that they’ll be looking into the situation. Whether ranked will be fixed, however, is yet to be seen.
