Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will soon be able to stream their existing Xbox game library

As part of Xbox’s Xbox Wire post detailing their vision for the next 20 years of the platform, the company announced plans to expand the Xbox Cloud Gaming offering to beyond what’s offered in the Xbox Game Pass Library. Specifically, the post describes a rollout that will expand its current streaming capabilities to “select games they (subscribers) already own or have purchased outside the Xbox Game Pass library”.

While there was no date provided or which games will be included in the initial rollout, the news is exciting for Game Pass subscribers nonetheless and furthers the vision of the democratization of gaming often described by Xbox leadership.
