At the Xbox Games Showcase today, Obsidian Entertainment showed three games. Each trailer had a different tone of voice, but the Grounded trailer stood out. It was filled with self deprecating humor, referencing CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Obsidian Entertainment’s reputation in the trailer.
It seems the people at CD Projekt Red were watching the show, as they responded to the trailer.
Grounded is coming out in early access / game preview on July 28th. That’s this tuesday! You can play it on Xbox One and Steam.
A full 1.0 release is set for 2021.
