Age of Empires II Definitive Edition launches on November 14th

On Inside Xbox today Microsoft has revealed the highly anticipated strategy game Age of Empires II Definitive Edition is launching on November 14th. The game can now be pre-ordered on Steam and Windows 10. And on launch, the game will also come to Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Currently select insiders are playing the Age of Empires II Definitive Edition beta and everyone will be able to play in a couple of months. AoE2:DE will include cross-play between Steam and the new Xbox Game Pass app on Windows 10. This remastered version will also include a new campaign called The Last Khans.

Together with the reveal of AoE2 DE’s release date, Microsoft also announced the prequel Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and Steam today.
