Indie Spotlight | April 11th -15th 2022
This week is probably the quietest on record so far in 2022 with no big releases to speak about and just a sprinkling of indie goodness. With not much on the horizon for April, we appear to be gearing up for a busier month in May. Is there anything this time around that grabs your interest? Let’s have a gander at what is in store for 11th-15th April 2022.

9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek is an original hidden-object puzzle-adventure game, featuring a totally unique Detective Mode. This thrilling mystery merges elements of classical horror and gritty, 50’s-style noir.
A paranormal private investigator is contacted by her friend, famous reporter Helen Hunter, whose voice sounds small and terrified in the voicemail. She is in the coastal town of Serpent Creek, and needs help immediately.
Battle Kid – Fortress of Peril

After having uncovered a devious plot to build a super-secret super mech on your island, you head to an ancient high-tech fortress to prevent this weapon from being completed. You must navigate through the various sectors of the fortress while battling its denizens and avoiding its many dangers in this retro-inspired gem.
Flower Shop: Summer In Fairbrook

The Flower Shop is a dating and farming simulation game. Steve’s life has just taken a downward turn. His grades from his first semester in college are dismal, his relationship with his girlfriend is rocky at best, and now his dad is shipping him off to some farm for the summer so that he can build character.
Sally Face
Release Date – 15th April 2022
Delve into an unsettling adventure following a boy with a prosthetic face, as he uses his handheld video game system to speak with the dead and learn their stories. After a string of mysterious murders, Sal and his three friends discover something truly sinister casting shadows over their small town.
The Final Analysis
A mixture of retro platformers, visual novels and some brainteasing fun in this week’s bunch of indie titles. Unfortunately, nothing for Xbox Game Pass this week in this lineup, but the backlog for most is already fully stacked I’m sure. See you on the next Indie Spotlight!
