Hi-Fi Rush announced for PlayStation 5

Get ready to rock!

In a special episode of the Xbox Podcast earlier this month, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer confirmed that four Xbox exclusives are due to arrive on other platforms at a later date.

Earlier today, Nintendo held their first Direct of the year, and announced the release of both Pentiment and Grounded, developed by Xbox Game Studios Obsidian.

That isn’t all today has in store, as Bethesda have just announced Hi-fi Rush will arrive on PlayStation 5 on March 19th, 2024. It looks like the trailer was accidentally posted early via Bethesda Softworks LATAM.

Chai and his team are on tour, and soon they’ll take to a whole new stage: charge up your DualSense™ controller and turn up the volume because… Hi-Fi RUSH is coming to PlayStation®5 on March 19! Feel the rhythm and smash evil drones with this amazing game included in over 50 “best of 2023” lists.

PlayStation players will now be able to battle to the beat of the music with access to all of the game’s content, including the Arcade Challenge update with two additional game modes: Full Time and Tower Assault. Pre-order Hi-Fi RUSH for PlayStation®5 on the PlayStation Store starting February 21st.

Additionally, you’ll be able to access the dressing rooms with the Hi-Fi RUSH Digital Deluxe Edition, which features the full game, additional cosmetics, and gears (the in-game currency) to upgrade your moves.

We loved it.

Hi-fi Rush was shadowdropped during the first Xbox Developer_Direct to critical acclaim. In our review, our Reviews Editor Jesse said:

Hi-Fi RUSH came out of nowhere and floored me.  It is one of my favorite-looking games, maybe ever.  The combat is sublime, the story is great, and the music just works.  Tango Gameworks has shifted from making ok to good horror games and created one of my favorite action platformers of all time.

Stuck on this god-forsaken island. Father of two, wishes he could play more games but real life always gets in the way. Prefers shorter and often smarter experiences, but Halo is King.
