Three Xbox Game Pass launch games are nominated for a Golden Joystick Award. These include two games made by a Xbox Game Studio. Twelve games are nominated among the games are independent games and various genres.

The Coalition latest entry in one of Microsoft’s biggest flagship IP’s is nominated for a Golden Joystick Award. The other game made by an Xbox Game Studio is The Outer Worlds. This game by Obsidian Entertainment released last week and has had a very positive critical reception.
Another Game Pass that got a nomination, with a very similar title is Outer Wilds. Mobius Digital created a hidden gem this year. Outer Wilds is a very precious and surprising title that launched on Xbox Game Pass a couple of months ago. Some people adore the game, some people don’t like it at all. We do know it has gained the attention it deserves.
Other nominees are Control, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Apex Legends, Telling Lies, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Untitled Goose Game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Disco Elysium and Resident Evil 2.
