*Xbox has given a detailed update on how to install Diablo IV on Game Pass for PC and it will tie your Xbox account into Battle.net
The Xbox Game Pass PC twitter account has seemingly confirmed that Diablo IV will be in the Xbox App when it hits the service this upcoming Thursday, March 28th.
We reviewed Diablo IV back at launch and gave the game a glowing 9.6 citing its addictive gameplay loop and good looks.
“The Diablo series is near and dear to my heart. Between I, II, and III I’ve sunk over 4000 hours into the series across PC and consoles. I can say, without reservation, that Diablo IV is the best the series has ever been. You get all the gothic gore of the early games with the pulse pounding and more balanced gameplay of III. I put over 70 hours into the title for this review, and all I wanted to do was play more. Blessed Mother, Blizzard has done it again.”
“Diablo IV is a triumph. It fulfills its promise, combining the aesthetics and feeling of Diablo II with the fantastic gameplay of III. It is dark and gory, featuring a meaty campaign and endgame that should delight fans of the series for hundreds if not thousands of hours.”
One missing piece for this Game Pass launch of Diablo IV is Xcloud. Thanks to our friends at the CMA in the UK, Ubisoft has all cloud gaming rights for Activision-Blizzard titles. That means Xbox fans do not get Diablo IV as part of their Game Pass Ultimate subscription. No word has been said on if Xbox will try to get the game into the service at a later date.

Buddy, all the new players are spending months in the campaign most likely. They’re not immediately jumping into the endgame like a sociopath

It will probably come at a later date. If ubisoft have the rights theyll try to put it on their own shitty service on cloud and charge more.

I run diablo 4 at medium settings at a stable 60fps on my steam deck… should run easily on series S
For the average casual player spending a few months and about 100 hours on the campaign seems right to me
