The Overwatch 2 closed Beta has released on PC and it seems to be extremely popular amongst the Twitch crowd at the very least.
The official Overwatch twitter account tweeted earlier today that over 1.5 million concurrent viewers were reached, the highest ever for the game.

This is extremely impressive considering the long wait for the game, meaning there is clearly an audience that has been eagerly anticipating the release of the title.
Overwatch is set to become an Xbox first party franchise when Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard closes sometime over the next year. It is unclear if the game will be an Xbox console exclusive when it releases.
