The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has done a great job with content additions and bug squashing, and the latest patch makes my hard drive just a bit happier. An update posted on the 25th of May for Microsoft Flight Simulator has fixed a number of bugs, but a key improvement slashes the initial download size for the game from a 170 plus to 83 gigabytes. A welcome change for anyone that had to remove the game due to its sheer size. There are other changes of course, such as tuning to propeller drag, Live Air Traffic, and the like. The full patch notes can be found here on the official game site. As for me, I am just happy that I can finally have Flight Sim and my DVD copies of King of the Hill on the same drive.
