While everyone expected The Initiative to show their first game (Could it be Perfect Dark?) at the Xbox games Showcase on July 23rd, it seems this isn’t the case.
According to our very own Shpeshal Ed on our XboxEra podcast The Initiative will not be showing their game at the show. It seems Microsoft is holding back the game for a later moment.
This is now also being reported on by Jeff Grubb too, who has been on point with many rumours regarding this summer of gaming.
It’s possible Microsoft is holding back some content, as it is rumoured Sony has a second show coming up where they’ll show more first party content. Matt Booty claimed we’d see more from The Initiative in 2020, but there is still plenty of time left this year. (The Game Awards, X020 or Gamescom.. anyone?)
