At The Game Awards 2018 two independent games stole the show. One of these indie darlings is Return of the Obra Dinn. It won the award for best art direction and was nominated for best independent game. And there is good news. The game is coming to Xbox One on October 18th.
The game is very recognizable due to the black and white aesthetics. It’s a single-player puzzle game and has received praise for its narrative and artstyle. In the Return of the Obra Dinn players get immersed in a world set in 1807. You play as an insurance adjuster for the East India Company and find out about the Obra Dinn. A ship that has gone missing.
