There is still a buzz in the air surrounding Xbox a few days after their showcase with Bethesda. The show was filled to the rim with games, showing an allotment of third party games coming to the platform and GamePass as well as the beginnings of what promises to be a massive first party library. That buzz seems to have turned into solid results, at least according to head of Xbox Phil Spencer.
Thank you for a great week, our most viewed E3 ever. We haven’t felt players and the team sharing so much energy and excitement since the 360 era. We’re inspired by the community’s belief in Xbox and we will continue to innovate with players at the center of everything we do.

Recently on Twitter, Phil Spencer announced that the latest E3 for Xbox was the most viewed show ever in the companies history. That is a pretty massive metric considering how long Xbox has been going to E3, and it reflects the excitement fans seem to have for the brand right now. The excitement seems to be there for the team at Xbox as well, as he noted that there hasn’t been this much excitement between Xbox and the fans since the 360 era.
It is undoubtedly an exciting time to be a fan of Xbox, and the promise there is now for the platform should skyrocket over the next few years.
