For the Monkey Island fans out there, fantastic news dropped today. Devolver Digital has announced that Return to Monkey Island, a brand new adventure in the series will launch in 2022. Ron Gilbert who started the series 32 years ago back in 1990 is reviving the franchise with studio Terrible Toybox. Lucasfilm Games is also involved with the project which Gilbert has said to have been working on for two years now. Whilst a release date hasn’t yet been revealed, it is expected to hit all major platforms later on in the year.
