Microsoft is celebrating 20 years of Xbox with a special event on November 15th

On November 15th it’s the 20th anniversary of Xbox. This means Microsoft is going to celebrate this with the community, with a special livestream. The coming three months are the biggest in Xbox history, with multiple big games releasing from Xbox Game Studios.

No new games will be announced at the Xbox Anniversary Celebration stream, but Microsoft says it will be a special look back at 20 years of Xbox. More information will be shared soon. You can read a part of the press release by Matt Booty below:

”We invite you to join us on Nov. 15 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox and Halo with a fun, digital broadcast for fans around the globe. While we won’t announce any new games, this anniversary broadcast will be a special look back at 20 years of Xbox. We’ll share more details soon, so stay tuned.

We’ve been hard at work to deliver three months of back-to-back game launches. And while we hope you’ll join us in celebrating 20 years of Xbox history, know that we’re hard at work on the road ahead and what’s to come in the next 20 years.”

For this special occassion, Microsoft has been working with our favorite squirrel Klobrille for some special artwork. To showcase the back-to-back games from Xbox Game Studios coming in the next months, Klobrille has created this:

Paramount+

Pieter "SuikerBrood" Jasper

29 year old gamer who grew up with Commander Keen and Jazz Jackrabbit. A PC Gamer. (Sorry, not sorry). Dutch, but actually Frisian. Loves Age of Empires, Sea of Thieves and wishes for a new Viva Piñata.
