Today Konami and Bloober Team have revealed they are entering a strategic partnership. Bloober Team, known for games such as Observer, Blair Witch and The Medium are going to work with Konami to ”jointly developing selected contents and exchanging know-how.” This could mean many things, but as Konami is the IP holder for Silent Hill and Bloober Team has made many horror games in the past, there seems to be reasons to believe this partnership could lead to a Silent Hill game.
It is a historic day for me and the culmination of several years of our work. The fact that such a renowned company as KONAMI has decided to strategically cooperate with the Bloober Team means that we also joined the world leaders in gaming and became an equal partner for the leading players in this market.
