Game Pass is not only a great service for gamers, but it also seems to be very popular among creators as well. We have heard several creators speak out about how Xbox’s subscription service allows creators to simply make the games they want and not worry so much about sales. Among those is Arkane Studios, Xbox’s brand new addition to their stable of first party studios that came with the Zenimax acquisition.
In an interview with Press Start, Game Director on Arkane’s upcoming game Deathloop, Dinga Babaka, said that
being able to be apart of the Xbox Gamepass ecosystem makes things a bit different for us, because we can occupy a space in that service, and we will continue to make the kind of games that we make and make them well.
Babaka also noted the immediate impact Game Pass has already had on two of their older games.

Thanks to the recent Xbox acquisition, they will not longer have to worry about number of units sold or appealing to everyone. They can just focus on making the games they want to make and they will be available to play for anyone who has a Game Pass subscription.
