This rumour made it’s way around the internet today, and it aligns with what we’ve heard from our own sources back in mid-December. It does indeed appear that Playground Games’ popular Forza Horizon 4 will be receiving a new update sometime this year based on the popular Hot Wheels expansion seen in the third instalment of the series.
This would most likely finish the support cycle for the game as the racing team begin to work what we would assume is Forza Horizon 5, which has been speculated by Jeff Grubb and others to be coming out sooner than expected. Perhaps if this DLC release is real, Horizon 5 may not be on the cards this year after all.
Of course, Playground Games are busy, also working on the return of Fable, an eagerly anticipated return for a beloved RPG in the Xbox IP stable.
