As was rumoured, the release date for Battletoads is near. The game is set to release on August 20th for Xbox One, Windows 10, Steam and Xbox Game Pass. This game combined many 2D en 3D genres, such as the turbo tunnel and a classic beat ‘m up.
The game has been created by Dlala Studios, a former support studio for Sea of Thieves. They pitched the idea to Rare, to which Rare responded positively. Meanwhile the Battletoads have appeared in many other entertainment products the past generation. It was part of the movie Read Player One, the fighting game Killer Instinct and most recently in Obsidian’s survival game Grounded.
