Playground Games has been rumored to be working on a new fable for some time now, and it looks like they’re still hiring talent.
Respawnfirst.com reported that the team hired Matthew Lightfoot in a producer role. Lightfoot was apparently a producer for Star Citizen.
We still don’t if the game that they are working on is indeed a fable game, but all signs point to some sort of RPG.
This game will undoubtedly be a game developed for Project Scarlett. It’s exciting to imagine a brand new Fable game, or other new RPG IP, made for next gen hardware by the developers who made the groundbreaking Forza Horizon series.
