The latest Call of Duty, Modern Warfare II, is releasing on October 28th according to a recent announcement and trailer.

One image from the trailer suggests some sort of update, possibly the gameplay reveal, will take place on June 8th.
Call of Duty will become an Xbox franchise if and when the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft completes sometime over the next year. Fans have speculated if this game will arrive on Game Pass at launch considering this fact, but as of now there is no way to know what will happen in the future.
