During a Reddit AMA that is being held in anticipation of the upcoming 10th Anniversary of Skyrim, Todd Howard touched on the character creation system of the upcoming highly anticipated game, Starfield.
Howard says that he is “Really excited about what the team has done with character creation here. Including choosing background, skills, etc. You can also pick your pronoun (he, she, they) and we’ve record all the relevant dialogue to support that choice.”
It is great to hear that Starfield will feature expanded depth in the character creation tools, truly allowing players to embody who they want to be within the game. Bethesda Game Studios games have always been about playing the way you want to, and Starfield seems to be an evolution of the choices that their games allow.
Starfield launches on November 11th, 2022, one year from tomorrow, on Xbox, PC, and Cloud Gaming. The game will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass like all Xbox Game Studios games are.
