Deathloop, the newest game from Dishonored 2 developer Arkane Lyon, has finally gone gold. The game has been delayed twice after an initial late 2020 release window, and after much anticipation the game is finally set to release next month on September 14 on PS5 and PC.

Deathloop is a game put in an odd position, as it is currently a timed PS5 console exclusive but is being developed by an Xbox owned studio. The agreement for Sony exclusivity was met well before Xbox acquired Arkane’s parent company Bethesda last year, and Xbox chose to see the already agreed to deal through.
Deathloop is only exclusive for one year, so the game should be releasing on Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass on September 14th, 2022.
