I hope this legend enjoys retirement. What an amazing career!
Oh wow. That’s kind of shocking. Salute to a legendary career.
Well, that is a bummer. I mean, good for him, and best of luck in retirement, but he was one of my favorite personalities at Bethesda.
Surprised but oh well. I always liked Pete Hines and remember him playing/promoting The Evil Within a decade ago. Best wishes to Pete with his retirement or whatever he chooses to do next.
No doubt he had shares in Zenimax which were bought out obviously, so not surprised he is choosing to retire.
Wish him all the best for the future, he will be missed.
Really surprising considering he was promoted not too long ago. Hope he enjoys his retirement and wish him the best.
Definitely a surprise, didn’t see this coming.
But it’s retirement, so you’d think this would keep fear mongering to the minimum. The usual places sure are not doing that. From Xbox kills off yet another important part, or some shit, to mentioning how it makes sense after the letters/emails during ABK. Whatever that even means. And of course some have to mention that Todd is next. People can’t help themselves.
It’s sad to see him going because he’s always been a big name and important person for Bethesda overall. I’ve once had the chance to interview him in The Netherlands and that was very cool. May he enjoy his retirement to the fullest. He’s got all the time in the world now to explore every Starfield planet.
Personally I didnt like the guy so
Shame. I will miss Pete showing us the latest updates for ESO and FO76 each gaming conference.
I mean Todd is probably next after Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, and he already said that it is likely to be his last game but about Pete’s leaked emails, I mean it’s something to think about and the timing is so close to ABK closing lol, he seemed very critical in those emails and he also said Starfield was irresponsibly large, and I have to agree a bit there, it was probably a nightmare to get the game out in a solid state and they probably would’ve never accomplished that without Microsoft, good luck to him and may he enjoy retirement.
Is there a reason why? Not that we should be forced to like anyone lol but he always seemed nice and was always super chill.
