Developer ION LANDS and publisher Merge Games have announced that their neon noir delivery game ‘Cloudpunk’ will have its Xbox Series version launching next week on the 16th of October.
First launched on Xbox One consoles nearly three years ago, Cloudpunk has players take on the role of Rania as she delivers for the courier company Cloudpunk in the sprawling city of Nivalis. You go everywhere, from the Marrow below to the spires that pierce the grey clouds high above before scraping the edge of the troposphere. No delivery job is too dangerous, and no one is faster than a Cloudpunk driver. In this story-based exploration game, you will meet a diverse range of characters including androids, AI and unscrupulous humans at every level of society. Everyone has a story, and in the course of one night in Nivalis, everything will change.
This upgraded version features optimised visuals and performance with Series X upscaled to 4k 30fps, or 1440p 60fps, and 1080p 60fps on Series S, greater volumetric lighting and more. This version of the game will also be available for Xbox One owners of the game for free via an upgrade.
