This year’s cover athlete of Electronic Arts’ ‘NHL 24’ is none other than 24-year old defenceman Cale Makar, winner of the Stanley Cup in 2022 with the Colorado Avalanche. A gold winner at the 2018 World Junior Championships, the James Norris Memorial Trophy in the ’21-’22 season, and the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP in the 2022 playoffs—Cale has been cited as the one of the best defencemen in today’s National Hockey League.
