‘Stray’ Paws its Way to Xbox Consoles August 10

Press 'X' to meow.

Developer BLUETWELVE and publisher Annapurna Interactive have announced that their third-person adventure title ‘Stray’ will be launching on Xbox consoles on the 10th of August. Previously a PlayStation and PC-only title, players will take on the role of a cat that plunges deep into the ravines and into a city that has long closed its doors to the outside world. You’ll need to run, jump, and meow if you’re going to escape back to the surface with the other cats.

Have a gander at the announcement trailer and game information below for more details on Stray.

Lost, alone and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient
mystery to escape a long-forgotten city.

Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit
alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy
underbelly. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen
threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by
curious droids and dangerous creatures.

See the world through the eyes of a cat and interact with the environment
in playful ways. Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as
possible with the strange inhabitants of this mysterious world.
Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B-12.
With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.

Stray is developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small team from the south of
France mostly made up of cats and a handful of humans.

Discussion:

  1. This game is good if you want pussy.

  2. I know it wouldn’t be due to a ps+ deal but was hoping for a gamepass release oh well

  3. It’s probably because of that PS+ deal that it isn’t on Game Pass.

  4. How much will it cost?

  5. I think 39.99

  6. thats a lot for a short game

  7. i think after some time they will put on gp. bugsnax was a day one title on PS+ before the tiers, then the game come to xbox and game pass after some time.

  8. I don’t think game length has anything to do with price. IMO, if a game is only 2-3 hours but is so good… Would still pay full price for it. It depends on if the game is good or not.

  9. Not sure if that’s changed as we know Sony now in there contracts for any games they help market normally have a blocked from gamepass deals. :frowning:

  10. This was super fun and engaging on PS+, glad to see it showing up on Xbox!
