The Crew Motorfest is launching on September 14, when players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC can race their way through the island of O’ahu and immerse themselves in a celebration of car culture. Whether it’s speeding through the streets of Honolulu, careening down the side of a volcano, offroading into a rainforest, or taking a relaxing drive along mountain roads or sandy beaches, The Crew Motorfest offers a lot of ways for players to explore the beautiful setting. It also offers a diverse fleet of vehicles for players to choose from, and its playlist feature lets you choose your own path through a selection of campaigns themed around different car-culture experiences and driving styles, including American muscle cars, Japanese street-racing, electric supercars, and more.

Discussion:

  1. This just looks way to much like Horizon,

  2. Yeah this is a pretty blatant example of copying another game’s homework.

  3. I personally never thought Japan city races or dirt bikes and ATVs would be a good fit for Forza Horizon so I’m glad this Crew Horizon will experiment with these features and prove why it’s a bad fit.

  4. I can neither deny or confirm if I’ve played it as part of insider preview but definite pass for more. Nothing comes close to Forza Horizon.

  5. There’s a potential giant niche as Horizon is immensely popular but is not on Playstation. The problem is that he presentation here seems to be a notch below FH4 and FH5 and the driving model appears simpler and less satisfying (though impossible to say exactly without playing myself).

  6. Driving felt terrible in The Crew 1 and 2. People are reporting that it’s at least better in this game… But apparently still not that great.
