‘Immortals of Aveum’ Gets a First Look Gameplay Trailer

From SMGs to Spells, Magic, and Gameplay.

EA under the EA Originals label and developer Ascendant Studios have put out a first look gameplay trailer for the company’s debut first-person magical shooter ‘Immortals of Aveum’. The trailer showcases the arsenal of spells and equipment available to suit a player’s playstyle as they assume the role of Jak in his battles against Rasharnian forces. The game will also be one of the first titles running on Epic’s Unreal Engine 5.1, showcasing graphical features and systems such as the Lumen lighting system and the Nanite (polygon) performance boosts. Today, EA Originals and Ascendant Studios released more than 6 minutes of gameplay in a new trailer for Immortals of Aveum, providing an extended look at the groundbreaking single-player, first-person magic shooter.

The gameplay trailer showcases Jak battling against Rasharnian forces, putting the game’s spell-based combat on full display as the player wields the three different types of magic: Force (Blue), Life (Green), and Chaos (Red). Through Sigils, rings, and totems, the gameplay is customizable to best fit players’ preferred playstyle. 

Ascendant Studios is proud to be releasing one of the first games on Unreal Engine 5.1. Immortals of Aveum leverages the engine’s newest technologies, including Lumen dynamic lighting and Nanite (polygon) performance boost.
