Xbox has announced the first Game Pass drop of 2023 after more than a month since the last announcement. This new batch of games doesn’t have any surprises, but it’s still nice to see Xbox officially kick off the year. Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Monster Hunter Rise are the three highlight games for this month. Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition, Stranded Deep, and the Biome Update for Valheim are also mentioned in this update but have already been released.

These games are leaving the service on January 15th
- Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Nobody Saves The World (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Pupperazzi (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- The Anacrusis (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- We Happy Few (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Windjammers 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Xbox mentions at the bottom of the article that more games and news are coming soon. Jez Corden of Windows Central has already reported that an Xbox event titled “Xbox Developer Direct” is expected on January 25th, and we would be surprised if new games for Game Pass are not mentioned there.
