Fallout 76 has been played by 13.5 million players since launch. This is according to Bethesda Game Studios in their year end breakdown of the game. This number isn’t necessarily eye popping (Fallout 4 had 12 million players in its first 24 hours) but is still a great feat considering its disastrous launch.
That number of 13.5 million is up from approximately 11 million players as of last November, which shows that the game continues to grow four years since its launch. Subscription services like Game Pass likely help with this number as players are able to try the game for “free” to see if they like the game before investing their time. 76 will likely never reach the heights of Bethesda’s other games, but it’s good to see the game continue to grow and be supported even after it’s initial failings.
