Speaking at Wall Street Journal’s Tech Live conference, Phil Spencer stated that Xbox Game Pass would remain in the “10-15% of revenue” and that “it’s profitable for us”. He also expressed that it would never take the majority of the division’s revenue share as free-to-play games are clearly the most profitable and popular business model at this point in time.
Phil also spoke on price increases on products sold by Xbox. He noted that while they’ve remained firm on pricing, he says that “…at some point we’ll have to raise some prices on certain things”.
