Age of Empires is getting a mobile game and it is releasing “soon”. On Xbox Wire, the mobile version is described. “This uniquely designed, visually stunning game will allow you to build your empire on the go. If the teaser has you excited, there’ll be more to share in the not too distant future. So stay tuned….”

There isn’t too much more info other than that, but it makes perfect sense to release a mobile version of this series. Microsoft has made it clear they want to be a big player in mobile gaming, and an AoE mobile version should be fairly popular and help Microsoft grow in the space.
