Xbox shares new UI coming in 2023

Xbox has shared plans to bring an updated UI to Xbox consoles in 2023. On Xbox Wire, Senior Product Manager Lead at Xbox Ivy Krislov shared the news and summarized the changes in a few nifty bullet points.

Key updates in this first round of preview updates:

. The new “Jump back in” row gives you quick access to your most recently played games and apps.

. Easily access important system apps like Settings, Store, Search and My Games & Apps with their own dedicated tiles on Xbox Home.

. Consistent design and visual identifiers with updated layouts to keep the experience familiar.

. When you scroll down, you’ll see curated categories and recommendations tailored to your gaming preferences.

Xbox Insider Program Lead Brad Rosetti shared on Twitter when insiders can expect to test the updated UI.

Xbox has continued to tweak the Xbox UI over the years based on player feedback. This latest update does not feature the most obvious visual changes but rather seems to focus on quality of life improvements.
