One of the genuine surprises from the Xbox+Bethesda showcase was a first look at Squanch Games’ “High On Life”, featuring a refreshingly bright colour palette and the wacky humour of Justin Roiland, of Rick and Morty fame.
The game tasks you with teaming up with a race of talking guns to take down an alien cartel who are using humanity to get high.

At the time of the show, all we knew is that the game was coming in 2022, but now that has been clarified, with the Xbox site page of the game being updated with a release date of October 25th. While some of these dates can occasionally be placeholder, it seems the team at Squanch Games are in full agreement!
The really good news is that High On Life is releasing straight into Game Pass on both console and PC, so you can look forward to adding this one to your download queue.
