Play Together

Everyone of us here at XboxEra loves video games.

Since XboxEra started, we’ve always tried to promote the excitement and joy that can come from making new friends, defeating old enemies and discovering new worlds and universes to play in.

For the fans of the Xbox platform, and particularly this year, we wanted more than ever to focus on the connection of play that binds us together, from all walks and talks of life.

As our real worlds become more divided and perhaps when things seem bleak, it’s encouraging to see so much joy, cooperation and investment in our little hobby called gaming.

As we all went through the pandemic, many of us had gaming as a wonderful way to escape the confines of our four walls, and the monotony of the every-day-routine. For others, it’s been the only real way they could be your authentic self.

For the developers out there that had to build these worlds and games during such difficult times, you have our thanks.

Either way, as our lives return to normal and we head towards the big blowout in gaming this summer, we wanted to take the opportunity to say – thank you.

Thank you for all the support, all the great games and all the great discourse and discussion we’ve had so far this year – even when we’ve disagreed at times.

All of this serves to remind us of one thing above all – it’s really good to play together.

It’s become somewhat of an annual XboxEra tradition to release a goosebump-inducing trailer for the Xbox+Bethesda showcase in the run up to the event, to get you just that little bit more excited.

So turn the volume up, enjoy, and we’ll see you for the livestream next weekend!

Stuck on this god-forsaken island. Father of two, wishes he could play more games but real life always gets in the way. Prefers shorter and often smarter experiences, but Halo is King.
