Xbox continues to impress as it recently celebrated a record breaking March. In terms of revenue, it was the best non Holiday month ever for the company.

Xbox also gained market share over the last two quarters, with the most recent quarter seeing the platform lead in the US, UK, Canada and Western Europe.

The company saw an uptick in hours played via Game Pass, up 45% over the last year. Xbox Cloud Gaming continues to grow, with over 10 million Game Pass users having played via streaming, a significant number for the service.

It is clear with the recent earnings report that Xbox continues on an upwards trajectory. Even with a quiet first quarter in terms of exclusive games, more people are buying into the Xbox ecosystem. This comes before games from their first party, now including Bethesda and possibly Activision-Blizzard, have hit the platform en masse. Once the dam is broken and games begin to release, the growth the platform sees should be significant.
