Halo TV show sets record for most viewed Paramount Plus series

Halo may be defining another platform outside of Xbox, as Paramount Plus has recently unveiled that the video game adaptation has set a record for most viewed original program within the first 24 hours of release.

The show, which stars Pablo Schreiber as John 117/Master Chief, has had a long journey towards landing on the silver screen. The game adaptation eventually arrived on the streaming service Paramount Plus and is proving to be a success already. There seems to be faith that the show will continue to grab viewers as a second season has already been ordered.

The success of the show on the service isn’t a massive surprise. Halo still holds strong as a popular IP that will bring in fans. Paramount Plus is also a fairly new service with very few mega hit original programs at the moment, meaning Halo is easily the biggest show on the platform. The two should be able to grow together, and early signs point to the partnership being a successful one.
