2021 was a big year for Xbox and according to Metacritic, their year was quite historic. With an average score of 87.4, Xbox Game Studios were far and away the highest rated publisher. Their score was also the highest rated year for Metacritic ever, reflecting on what was simply an astounding year for the team.
Games like Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Psychonauts 2 and more were just some of the excellent games released under Xbox Game Studios.
2022 is looking like another strong year, with Redfall and Starfield confirmed for release this year, as well as a few other possible surprises from Xbox throughout the year.
