
With the FIFA series dominating the world stage when it comes to football games across all platforms, there hasn’t been much contention. With the recent rebranded eFootball 2022 entering the genre as a free to play title with paid elements being the only competition. There is always room for another contender to try and pry the crown from EA Sports. Enter the field UFL!
UFL is an upcoming free-to-play association football simulation which will be developed and published by Strikerz Inc. After six years in development and Cristiano Ronaldo as the cover star, will this have the same guise and quality that can match FIFA. Only time will tell and with the game slated to come sometime in 2022 “When it’s ready”, they decided to drop the above gameplay trailer today.
The game will feature ranked and unranked modes, allowing for both online and offline play. Co-op 2v2 and 3v3 matches will be available along with special events and more. Strikerz state that the game will be “fair to play” and will also feature over 5000 real-life players with both player and club licences being snapped up all the time.
