Xbox have a lot of projects in the works, and thanks to Jez Corden of Windows Central, we know of two more intriguing games coming from Xbox Game Studios.
“Midnight”, apparently the codename for Compulsion Games next adventure, is described as a Dark-Fantasy Third Person game. The project features magic, fantastical beasts, and a “southern gothic” aesthetic. There is currently no known timetable for when this game will launch.

Obsidian Entertainment’s “Pentiment” was leaked last week, but now Jez provides more details.
Pentiment is apparently a “Disco Elysium” type game where you work to solve a murder-mystery. The game is set in 16th century Europe, is dialogue heavy, and apparently has no combat. Development is being lead by Josh Sawyer, best known for his work on Fallout New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity.

Xbox obviously have a ton of games in the works, and these two leaked projects just add to the pile of what is looking like a monumental future output by Xbox Game Studios.
As Xbox attempts to truly become the “Netflix of Games”, they will need to feed their subscription service, Game Pass. Original, first party content is among the best ways to do that, and Xbox seems to be invested in making sure Game Pass continues to thrive.
