Tango Gameworks is busy finishing up the timed PS5 exclusive Ghostwire: Tokyo and are apparently also working on the game after that.
During Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show stream, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer spoke to Tango Gameworks founder and industry legend Shinji Mikami about the studio and what’s next. Translated by IGN, Mikami teased an upcoming game saying “Right now John [Johanas] is in the middle of working energetically on a new game”.
Johanas was the director of The Evil Within 2, although it is unclear if the game he is currently working on is The Evil Within 3 or something entirely new. Whatever that game is, it should be horrifying and will likely be an Xbox console exclusive as a result of Xbox’s acquistion of Bethesda earlier this year.
