Arkane Austin director Harvey Smith announced earlier today during Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show stream that Redfall would feature full Japanese localization. This announcement came alongside the announcement that another highly anticipated Bethesda game, Starfield, would also feature full Japanese localization.
Redfall featuring full Japanese localization is just another step towards Xbox’s goal of growth in the Japanese market.
Redfall was announced during E3 and is currently scheduled for a Summer 2022 release. The game promises to iterate on Arkane’s mastery of the immersive sim genre while also allowing for co-op play, a first for the studio.
