Splitgate, a game coined “Halo Meets Portal”, has been in development for a while but recently made its console debut on July 13th. The game seems to have found an audience quickly, and developer 1047 Games recently shared a few milestones the game had reached on Twitter.

Splitgate’s Twitter account commented recently that the game had reached “600k+ new users” in its first week, and had amassed a concurrent player count of “50k+”.
This is great news for the team and the game, as it’s blend of classic Arena gameplay with a modern twist on Portal mechanics make Splitgate a game worth checking out. Splitgate is available now as a free to play game on Steam, Xbox, and Playstation.
