Developer Full Circle, who is currently hard at work on a new entry in the Skate franchise, announced earlier today that they will not be at the upcoming EA Play. They did however say that they’re going to share “a little something” tomorrow. What that “little something” is is unclear, but it will be interesting to see what they have to show.

A new entry in the Skate franchise was announced last year during EA’s annual show. Fans had been demanding a new game ever since the last game released in 2010.
Skate was a series that came around at a perfect time for the skateboarding genre. The first entry released in 2007 right as the Tony Hawk’s series was beginning to wane. Skate offered a fresh perspective on the genre including a unique camera perspective and satisfying gameplay that utilized the thumbsticks for tricks rather than the face buttons.
It will be interesting to see how Skate evolves when the first new game in more than a decade releases sometime in the future.
